Yes. All specimens have been legally imported into the United States with proper inspection by the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife. For birdwing butterflies, we can provide a CITES number upon request.

Will my specimen fade over time?

No — every frame includes 99% UV-blocking, museum-quality glass specifically to prevent fading, along with acid-free archival materials throughout.

Are the photos accurate to what I'll receive?

Yes. Because many of our specimens are one of a kind, we always provide authentic photos of the exact specimen you'll receive, not a stock or representative photo.

Where are the frames made?

Every frame is sturdy and handmade right here in New Mexico, United States.

How are the insects themselves sourced?

99% of our specimens are ethically sourced from farming operations, insect breeders, or antique collections. Insect farming has a positive influence on local insect populations.
